Regional Employer Celebrations Move to Worcester on Thursday

AIM will present Next Century Awards to pharmaceutical  company Abbvie and Table Talk Pies and athe AIM Sustainability Award to AIS of Leominster during a regional employer celebrationThursday from 4:30-6:30 pm at Mechanics Hall in Worcester.  The celebrations is free of charge, but pre-registration is required.

Massachusetts Fund Created to Aid Puerto Rico

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and the Boston Foundation on Friday announced the creation of the Massachusetts United for Puerto Rico Fund, which will be dedicated to “the relief and reconstruction of Puerto Rico and to support any Puerto Ricans arriving in Boston and the Commonwealth as a result of the destruction from Hurricane Maria.”  Mayor Walsh and Governor Charlie Baker will serve as honorary co-chairs, with House Ways and Means Chairman Jeffrey Sanchez as honorary Vice Chair.
